We teamed up with the agency Pitch to create 3 animated shorts for EE’s Phonesmart Campaign with the Beano.
Phonesmart is a tool to help educate children and their parents on how to stay safe online.
The Beano provided the comic strips and Scribble Room brought them to life. Using extensive character bibles provided by the Beano, we created the animatable rigs in Toon Boom. We decided to tell the story with a simple panning motion across the comic cells, letting the artwork and animation do the heavy lifting. The finished shorts were shown on EE’s social media, BT Sport and on the Phonesmart website.
